this comp put together by American label "crowded control activities" lets you taste the extreme sound of barely structured noise. powerful crushing walls of sounds, balancing on the brink of extreme irritation will surely give a heart attack to occasional listener.

if you manage to tolerate the waves of white noise and feedback, you still will not find a lot to enjoy. the bands that really do deserve mentioning on this cd share the space with extremely immature attempts where cartoonish anger almost makes you laugh.

bands like atrax morgue and con-dom did not perform up to my expectations, while skin crime, and slogun showed off the best this genre has to offer - intense unstructured sonic attack where saturated dense feedback is filled with brooding noises and voice samples.

this is probably not the best compilation to get acquainted with the genre, if you are looking for introduction - start with some tesco material instead.
