this release contains six very diversified remixes of jérôme soudan’s mimetic mute/field work. soon (if not already out) to be released as a 12" picture disc on moloko+, soudan’s work is recomposed by six different ranged artists.

track a, "panorama" by french musician norscq takes immediate erratic rhythms, and splices hypnotic dynamics with spoken word samples and dark resonating drones. track b, "hasel 44" [tied mix] from column one of berlin utilizes mac computer spoken phrases meshed into distorted wails, acoustic guitar patches, compounded by semi-heavy beat structures. stocha of spain introduces "opened" with effected male spoken words that revolve around organ melodies and attractive erratic percussion and drone bass lines. elektroplasma gives us charged dirges and shifting alien textures that merge with warm electro beats with the track titled "flood." ah cama-sotz hypnotizes us with a dark interpretation, "illektrik.toolz" that pushes attractive tribal n’ bass beats that are accompanied by volatile french spoken word and sad violin chords. and lastly Phil Von gives us a very depressing mix of "point mort" that pushes tragic samples that flow into a somber strings movements.

overall, a very nice contribution to this very unique and ranged artist’s work.
