this sampler was released by german black rain label - feindflug's home.

feindflug clearly stands out of the all the acts on the cd. "störfaktor" balances heavy-loaded ebm beats with dense noise-filled percussion and excellent synthwork. the result is brutally intense composition, a perfect militant electro piece.

yet another interesting track on the sampler is influenced by feindflug - accessory's "war of emotions" was remixed by feindflug - simple but effective mix of vocoder effects and heavy noisy ebm. soft "holoism" by "for a space" deserves mentioning for the variety it brings to this cd - this track starts out as a delicate atmospheric piece that slowly evolves to nicely orchestrated composition with graceful synthlines and sparce percussion.

unfortunately the rest of the cd barely makes it beyond the mediocre level - seems like bands on the sampler cannot let go of the old influences, afraid to try anything new, clinging onto old-school ebm and industrial clichés thus making the brilliance of feindflug even more obvious. hopefully, black rain will evolve and mature backing feindflug by number of strong bands.
