sickness vs. never presence forever

alan · October 30, 2000

Packaged in a simple monochromatic maroon sleeve with actual photo fragment attached to the front, these two artists give us a bite of nauseating noise patterns. On side A sickness presents “Insatiable Machine Part I” - high-charge noise barriers that advance with immense ferocity On side B, Never Presence Forever takes on very trance induced drones and subtle percussive pieces that remain very alien and brooding at the same time. It provides us with two tracks, the first entitled, “the Impetus of the salivating lamb” and the second, “restoration: obliteration.” I am not sure about side a, but I have to favor side b for its simple hypnotic undertones.
