put your trust in me

neuroactive (1999)
anton · December 13, 1999

"put your trust in me" is yet another single that came out after last full-length "fiber-optic rhythm". the band continues in the vein of synthpop releasing extremely danceable and solid music.

it was a pleasant surprise to find yet another remix of "space divider" - the song that originally introduced neuroactive to me. "half-life (second half)" was rather surprising venturing into the world of idm with the complex and enticing sound that suddenly reminded me of "flavour of the weak" (!). three remixes of "put your trust in me" provide enough material for any club dj to please the audience with this track where flowing sequences mix with clean synthpop vocals and constant beat. "you (original version)" is a soft ballad track that would sooth any raging synthpop maniac out there and put him in the stage of permanent bliss.
