for those of you familiar with mesh this would be a nice treat consisting of 4 live tracks and one bonus song. I always had mixed feelings about the band's sound - no matter how generic the music appeared to me at times, lacking some easily distinguishable traits, on every album there were at least two-three songs that just stood out on their own. fortunately enough this ep has the tracks that appear to be representative of best mesh's work, pounded in our heads by countless appearances on compilations. you would undoubtedly recognize "trust you", "people like me", "you didn't want me"

mesh's brand of dense synthpop-influenced melodies takes some time to get into; the music appears to be too orchestrated to have an immediate appeal that majority of synthpop bands possess. it seems that this release would interest hardcore fans only, while the rest of us would be satisfied with album versions of presented tracks.
