Forget what you know about his last release, "2nd Vactor", and engage a newly reborn B-Ton-K with tendencies leaning towards the near perfect first release "SemiHum@nBeing."
This time around it evolved to more fast-paced EBM stylings with emphasis on complexity of percussive elements and precise vocals similar to Rudy R.'s work. B-Ton-K focuses on solid clean analog chord progressions, less abrasive textures, and more contrast between rhythms and beat patterns. This album should make DaHam Recordings get the recognition it deserves and has been waiting for in the past few years.
Opening "Serpent" makes a strong introduction; utilizing very bouncy EBM structures, resonance looping, and destructively intense vocals with additional help by :w:. We continue this intelligence into the next track ("Lower You!") much along the same lines.
The third track, "Birth - Sex - Death", moves along with strong programming that leans on the intelligence of Suicide Commando and :w:. (this influence is definitely apparent throughout many tracks on this release).
On track four labelmate F/A/V introduces "Inzest mix" of "Elektritter" with complexity of break-beat structures and rhythmic analog sound devices such as dentist drills drips and electrified cycling phases. Track five carries on a melodic danceable track titled "The Guide." Tracks six and eight through twelve, together with fifteen present a variety of militant and transitional percussives aspects entangled with analog sounds and chord progressions. Some would even consider this power noise influenced, relying focus of rhythmic structures and noise manipulation.
Track seven, "Kapitulation", presents harsh chaotic militant structures with vocals by M. Grotesk/Unverdorben. Item fourteen, "The Master", is a funky EBM track with clean vocal arrangements by Photic Sonar/W. Thumbs.
A nice b&w medical cross sticker is enclosed in this package as well. B-Ton-K has put himself back on track of solid EBM programming that continues on where he left off on his first brilliant release.
