if you are looking for truly polished 80s sound without any obvious modern additions, this is definitely a cd to pick up. on this release you will be taken way back to the pretty choruses, very laid-back, clean melodies with nicely orchestrated light passages, presence of guitar and unbelievably familiar 15-years old motives. some of the tracks are almost unbearably mellow, but there are couple really nice and almost edgy danceable songs (catchy "monkey in the moon", simple "guardian angel") that save this album and allow the band to be represented on many modern synthpop comps. I guess this is a good album for setting the standard of what's considered truly mellow and retro-sound. this release could be described as sweet chillout music for the lazy 80s fan.
