jonathan sharp collaborates with smp and inertia members on this release. comparing this sound with label mates negative format and new offering from pulse legion you will find a lot of similarities (time to bring that "new wave of american electro" term to live). first several songs on the album are rather enjoyable and almost reach the standards set by bands mentioned above.

first tracks employ technoish-sounding beats, processed vocals, nice synths that altogether create a nice pleasant dark electro. the music flows rather smoothely and is (most of the time) enjoyable.

later on the album starts slipping - several tracks that mix hip-hop (horribly) with guitars and couple of tracks with bizarre and silly samples, dissonant vocals and silly lyrics together with several aggro-industrial tracks quickly turn you off (almost to the point when you cannot take it any longer).

seems like the band is not sure what path to choose - whether stay the synthetic and melodic side of the music, or utilize the contrast between the harsh voice and melodic music or whether embrace aggro-industrial altogether.
