hybryds is a side project of ah cama-sotz, and this release presents a sound that is rather different from the one of ah cama-sotz. the music is full of tribal influences - the beats that wake up the images of tribal gatherings and the dark magic of the early years. this being a foreground, electronic noises and beats are added to the mix with some keyboards and occasional synth line. the music is hypnotizing, and it quietly grows on you forcing you to listen to it again and again. the music slows down and occasionally erupts with an outburst of noise and clashing metallic percussion. after a while completely enveloped in the music you realize that it is not industrial nor ambient nor noise in any way - rather a unique sermon that utilizes a thousand-year old percussion and futuristic noises from the centuries to come.
