this is the second album for the band (after their debut "evolve"). this time they improve their sound and deliver more danceable solid music. "one thing" is not breaking new grounds, rather delivering tight and solid sound with well-placed synths, keyboards and vocal processing. although it might sound a bit cliché and unoriginal to some, it is very catchy and a pleasant album. after all, this band is from la, and should be supported just for the fact that it is american. |
